My Third Place is an afterschool program that focuses on creating community with at-risk kids primarily in the city of Azusa, CA. The concept behind the name of the program as well as the logo were the studys that show that everyone, for the most part has 3 places in their lives. 1 and 2 are typically home, work/school and the 3rd is usually the place where one spends most their "free-time" and this place often is associated with who you are or who you will become as a person.
So, by creating a place that is safe, cool and fun to hand out with MyThirdPlace stands to help mold the lives of these young kids. It's such a great program to get behind.
